Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ByungSoo Ko ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the 67 Push Ups mobile application ("App"), available on the Apple App Store (Bundle ID: com.67pushups.app).

1. Information We Collect

Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (or Apple Sign In identity token) for authentication. Account creation is optional — you can use the App without an account.

Workout data

The App records push-up session data including reps, sets, duration, grades, and timestamps. If you use the App without an account, this data stays on your device only.

Preferences

We store your device notification preferences (reminder hour/minute) and your analytics opt-in/opt-out preference. You control the analytics setting in the App's Settings screen.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • Location data
  • Contacts
  • Photos or video (camera is used for real-time rep counting only — no images are stored or transmitted)
  • Health or fitness data from Apple HealthKit
  • Advertising identifiers (there are no ads in the App)

3. Camera Data

The App uses your device's camera for real-time pose detection to count push-up reps. All processing happens on-device using MediaPipe. No images, video, or camera data is recorded, stored, transmitted, or shared with any third party.

4. How Data Is Stored

On-device

Local data is stored in SQLite on your device. If you use the App without an account, all data remains on-device.

Cloud

If you create an account, your workout data is synced to Supabase (hosted on AWS). Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data. Cloud sync is optional and requires an account.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — Authentication and cloud database (hosted on AWS)
  • RevenueCat — In-app purchase and subscription management
  • Apple Sign In — Identity verification for account creation
  • Expo — Crash reporting and over-the-air updates

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We do not sell your data to any third party.

6. Data Deletion

  • Sign out: You can sign out anytime. Your local data remains on-device.
  • Delete account: You can delete your account from within the App. This permanently removes all cloud data associated with your account.
  • Delete the App: Uninstalling the App removes all local data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
